With a Genki Dama sword from a planet with like 10 people. Even more ridiculous.

Trunks constantly getting rage hax boosts in the anime really pissed me off.

They have done the power structure so poorly. It's a shame. Do you guys realize how well put together the original manga is, power wise? AT must have cared a whole lot more than he ever lets on, the dude is detailed as fuck. Nothing else will compare, he had a thought for every character, exactly where they lined up. Either him, or his editors did at least. Buu Saga really is the only time you run into issues. Everything else works out nearly perfectly. That ain't by chance.

Yeah, the original manga is solid. As you said the Boo arc is the only place where it turns to ass, but even that can be "figured out" or at least narrowed down to a couple theories. Super is just everywhere.

Trunks rage boost was ok but that Jedi Trunks is just unforgiveable.

The Super anime made me dislike Trunks as a character, and I used to think he was one of the best characters in the original manga. He was just so weird in the anime. His plot-induced rage boosts were maddening, all just to keep him in line with the gods. It probably wouldn't have been as bad if Zamasu wasn't haxxed to keep up with Super Saiyan Blue because then you could've just used Trunks to keep him at bay, but he was, thus Trunks had to be relevant. I don't exactly care for the manga's way of excluding him in his own arc thus far, but at least his power has been reigned in fairly well (and Zamasu's) and he's not fighting on par with Goku and Vegeta, which would be just downright retarded. I'm sure Trunks will have more to do in chapter 23 onward, but I'm sure it can't be any worse than the Genki-Dama Sword or him outperforming motherfucking Vegetto before the sword even came into play; that set a precedent for pure seizure-inducing ejaculatory mind rape, I tell ya.

But yeah, Super Trunks is just trash anime-wise. He's much more tolerable in the manga, but that's also because he hasn't done anything and he hasn't gotten his Super Saiyan Rage form.

The only way I'll understand Trunks winning in the manga is if Vegetto severely weakens Zamasu..

Since Enrage Trunks didn't appear in the manga, I wouldn't be surprise if Jedi Trunks might appear here.

If Trunks does in fact take the kill then I hope it's a weakened version of Merged Zamasu or better yet, Vegetto will take him out.

I did read the chapter in Manga Stream and compared to Herms' translations... pretty much the same thing as far as chapter 21 goes.
