Just read the chapter and by Super standards, or at least anime ToP standards, it was fairly good. Whilst it was stupid for Galu to only use SS2 to take on both Toppo and Dickspo, it at least isn't use base form against most strong opponents to save stamina only to spam taxing forms infinitely or start at anything less than Kaioken Blue against Jiren stupid like the anime. Hit and Goku teaming up to fight Jiren was also far more of a satisfying combo than having them split up to take on rabbit fag and GT reject respectively, even if it seemed like a poor man's version of the Raditz fight. Whilst Hit getting to SSB level through training and using brute force was uninteresting, it's still better writing than giving him an improvement ability that makes him close to a Gary Stu, plus seeing something new in Time Lag was better than having all his abilities spoiled in a psuedo-filler episode.
Tl;dr, Toyotaro may be a hack, but at least he cares about the writing quality at least somewhat more than Toei's staff.
