Plus, Zamasu being pissed off on Goku doesn't make any sense when he just saw him in the Godtube without meeting. The anime on the other hand, made it perfect on how Zamasu was developing his anger towards Goku and the mortals.

Goku was clearly fighting for Bills' team at the tournament. He also had the highest power easily and showcased it to the fullest (Vegeta did too, but he didn't fully show his).

I usually prefer the anime these days due to the manga condensing way too much, but there's no question that it has significantly less bullshit (albeit it still feels like modern Toriyama's usual BS, light-hearted with no shits given about consistency )
