This has always been baffling to me.
16 was able to tell that Vegeta had powered-up significantly after he showed up to fight Cell. Vegeta didn't even have to fight for 16 to notice the change. On the other end, Gero can't seem to properly gauge them whether they're fighting or standing.
Like...
That's been a consistent part of Cell's character, though.
Vegeta shows up after training in the Rosat. 16 is able to tell right off the bat that Vegeta was significantly more powerful, but Cell doesn't care. Vegeta transforms into Super Vegeta. Cell still doesn't care. Cell gets knocked around...
There was no need to use that form when Super Saiyan alone was already far above Cell.
Cell actually thought he had a chance even after Trunks went Super Saiyan. I doubt Trunks had any of that other stuff in mind.
What do you think Beerus intended to do? Crush Moro's crystal or something else entirely?
Whis had not yet revealed what needed to be done, but Beerus could've been thinking along the same lines as him.
I remember when some people said they believed he was going to Hakai Planet Moro, but I'm...
I don't see why he'd be a far worse option than Vegeta.
The fact that Old Kaioshin thought Boo would bother absorbing him is enough to tell me his abilities can't be that useless.
I always saw it as a 2x boost. It works fine for me.
If they diminished by half, I don't see why returning would be much more than that. Piccolo's huge improvement over the yrs is why the assimilation ended up being as powerful as it was.
Before they're about to fight in the tournament, Krillin says to himself that he hopes Piccolo won't hit him with a Special Beam Cannon. I was just wondering why he would think Piccolo would try to impale him when Piccolo was not only way above him, but also an ally.
Even seeing Goku compare...
I'm down.
Now we just need to find a topic we don't agree on. That's the hard part.
Just ask me a bunch of questions to see what my opinion is on certain topics. That's probably the best way.
Can we ask questions that aren't timeline related?
Like for example: why did Krillin believe Piccolo would try to hit him with a Special Beam Cannon in movie 9?
When Gohan and Piccolo were cornered by Universe 9, Gohan was ready to use all of his power to take them on. Piccolo's reaction alone shows how much of a wild-card it really is.
Enter Full-Power Frost:
Decimated Universe 9 alone and made the Trio De Dangers retreat.
Frost is told to...
I was just randomly thinking about this for some reason.
Freeza powered-up in his 1st Form. Freeza powered-up in his 2nd form. Freeza powered-up in his final form.
With his 3rd form, he just basically came and went. Probably was tired of being so ugly because we know his power wasn't...
Since we've seen Goku shifting his vital spots in Super, I'm gonna go ahead and say Cell sent it down to his ass the moment Goku unleashed the KMHMH.
But ignoring Super, it certainly seems like a plot-hole to me. I'm not sure how else you can take the scene.
Even though I really enjoyed watching Tien stomp Tao, I think a Cyborg Tao much later would've been an even better idea. Imagine Tao upgraded with an infinite energy reactor.
Honestly, that's a good question. Maybe they felt as though the Fusion route was too extreme. SK's words makes it sound like he still believed they had a chance against Moro as long as he didn't continue absorbing energy.
Whatever the case may be, they certainly were having a hard time dealing...
I've recently been reading over the Future Trunks arc and started thinking a bit more about things I never really thought about.
A quick recap:
Initially, we see that Super Saiyan Black was having a hard time going up against Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta.
Once Vegeta went Blue, he decimated Black...
