If Gogeta actually defeat Broly I mean literally defeat him then that would give him another score on his resume compared to Vegito that's for sure.

I have a hard time giving credit to the Gogeta rumors. The movie releases next month in Japan, then in January in USA. If Gogeta was in it, I can't help but assume he'd be at the front of a marketing blitz to get all the fanboys in the seats. The character would be hyped to the moon, and wisely so from a monetary standpoint. Keeping it a secret wouldn't make sense from a marketing mindset.

Broly is a big draw and that's enough I guess.

So Vegeta needs to learn the dance despite having watched it from Other World, being a battle prodigy and implying he could do it if he wished in the Boo Arc?

Also, Freeza, the villain who's pure goal in his debut arc was gaining immortality, who was hellbent on getting revenge against Goku for over a decade, who's desire is still to regrow his empire and reign supreme makes a gag wish when having the opportunity to become immortal?

I thought the franchise couldn't get any worse than the ToP, but if this is true, then even bottom tier Shonen like Bleach seem to have more respect in how they handle their characters than Super does.

And if Super's track record is anything to go by, the reason is always a disappointment.

"Wait and see" isn't a very strong defence. I've waited to see if Super would get good and it has yet to do so.
