The one thing I hope for this chapter is to finally see Whis getting pressured in a fight.
You're going to have to wait 2 more years then.

It's great to be optimistic.

If he's willing to spar with MUI Goku without fear of getting erased then yeah, it seems like we are years away from that still.

Granolah is already an extremely boring character.

So, it's made apparent how far below Whis UI Galu still is. Also, lol at Goku wanting to fight someone strong as though Beerus isn't there waiting for the Saiyan to challenge him. No idea why Beerus isn't testing himself when watching a pissant like SSB Vegeta was enough to make him get up for exercise and he has a solid reason for letting off steam against Goku, though it seems apparent the manga's going to start retconning Beerus' power as much as the anime does :troll.

As for the Granolah plot, he's pretty one-dimensional with his "muh vengeance" character, and let's not kid ourselves in that this is just Baby 2.0 (or Hatchiyack 3.0). Thankfully, Elec makes himself more distinct as a DB villain with his focus being on gathering intel rather than amassing raw power as well as being quick to nip internal threats in the bud. If he's treat as the major villain of the arc until Granolah amasses the power he's set up to wield, then it's at the very least assured the arc won't be as bad as the previous one. Definitely not thrilled on the wasted potential of this new threat yet again being another one from Universe 7 that's somehow not amassed complete control of it yet when they have such a grand information base and Granolah is apparently strong enough that Elec thinks he'd "probably" lose to a powered up Freeza. At least GT had an excuse with Redjic only being a bodyguard for a leader only focused on ruling one planet and the Machine Mutants were essentially biding their time until Baby was ready.
Not a bad chapter, but certainly not one that brings things to a promising start unless lowering one's standards to go along with Super's average quality.

I will admit that Beerus's true power is probably a lot greater than I thought based on whatever technique he has that could bring Vegeta on the level of MUI. I was pretty sure that Goku had finally surpassed Beerus, but I guess I was wrong. At the very least, I think it could go either way between MUI Goku and Beerus.

Right, so as I was saying all along to you peasants, Goku is still weaker than Beerus and he damn well ain't anywhere near Whis. Glad we've started coming around to the truth.

:galu

Overall, this chapter has me a little more excited than Moro did. At least we've got some sort of family unit, which in and of itself can lead to interesting storylines, but with Moro it was just him and Raspberry or whomever and that wasn't a fulfilling dynamic at all.

I think UI Goku (Current) is at Beerus level, but surely Beerus can beat him with some special technique.

I wonder what they mean by what will the strongest Warrior in the Universe be born? Will he be superior to Broly LSSJ, Beerus, Merus and UI Goku?

And another question, Granola will be stronger than Freeza 100% (Namek), does that mean that the Warriors of Universe 7 are stronger than in the Past? How strong will Gas be? What is the technique that Beerus will show?

I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong. I still think it's undefined though as opposed to me favoring MUI Goku completely, so there's that. I think at the moment there isn't any point in making Beerus vs threads until we have 100% confirmation on where Beerus stands.
