How many times do I have to say it? There was a clear reason Beerus was happy. It wasn't because he was doing shit casually. It was because he ate the fruit Champa wanted.

You have to take context into account. Champa being angry doesn't mean he's straining himself more than Beerus is.

i do remember that beerus wasn't concerned at all when he sensed Zamasu (fused with universe)

Looks like most people can stop complaining about Beerus' performance contradicting there being stronger Hakaishin than him. Beyond dodging, a major part of his performance was from cunning tactics and he still didn't outright defeat any of the Hakaishin other than perhaps Moscow.

Things we learned from this chapter.

*Zeno was planning to destroy the 8 universes just before Goku arrived.

*Rumoosh is pissed off on Gowasu about the Zamasu situation and that Gowasu seek help from Beerus instead of him.

*All of the Hakaishins have a grudge on Beerus long time ago.

*Beerus lose to Quitella on arm wrestling match which mean that the mortal who is > Hakaishin happens to be from U4

I found this version of the zen exhibition match more interesting. It's nice to finally see the Hakaishins fight all out.


I found it kind of funny Beerus fell asleep during a hide and seek game and the other Hakaishins had to calm Zeno down by entertaining him. Grudges, it's really not a good thing.


I'm glad the "reacting without thinking" has made it way back. I always thought it would be a factor in Goku defeating Beerus one day.

Seems that going in line with Whis' statement, Beerus has learnt instinctive fighting, but hasn't mastered it, though is more proficient at it than the other Hakaishin.

Overall, this version of the Zen Exhibition match is already far better than the anime's. We actually get to see the Hakaishin fight each other and it does a far better job at presenting the personalities of the different Hakaishin, Angels and Kaioshin than the anime, especially in helping build up Belmod and Universe 11 as a whole.
