The way Toyotaro handle the angle made Goku innocent compare to the manga counterpart. :troll
Which is how it should be, since it's Goku's decision that allowed for more than 4 Universes to have a chance at survival.
:toei nerfed the characters' intelligence down a couple of pegs, considering they acknowledged, then ignored such an obvious thing.

Damn you, Toyotaro's cliffhanger. And Beerus seems to really be the strongest Haikaishin.

I actually liked this chapter quite a bit. Especially compared to the anime. The artwork had a noticeable improvement, too.

Good to know that Beerus dodging all of their attacks wasn't because he far outstrips the other Gods of Destruction.

I'd say Beerus is still the strongest GoD, if not one of the strongest (in the manga at least). It's implied that blast Beerus launched at them could have seriously damage/killed most of them if Sidra didn't put that barrier up. Plus there is Black's comment about him being the most troublesome.

I never saw a problem with Beerus creating a powerful enough Ki attack that would damage them severely, I'm sure the other gods can do the same.

There is also that part when he says he forgot Gohan's birth :facepalm2
To be fair, Goku not being around for Gohan's birth makes sense if you assume a few things in the context. It wasn't that long after the 23rd TB and Goku would know he'd have to focus a lot of time on training so Piccolo didn't surpass him, to the point he may have complete ignored Chichi during this time period. It'd also explain Chichi's huge change in character in between their marriage and DBZ, since being absent of her husband whilst the world was still peaceful would make her believe absolutely that martial arts weren't that necessary anymore.

It was still a battle royale though, in which even the slightest damage between their peers who all seem around the same level (other than jabroni Sidra), could easily boost the chances of them being eliminated.

How would you guys rate the recent chapter out of 10?

7/10

Still nothing extraordinary, but better than something boring and totally filler-like. Plus, it's probably likely we'll never see all of the gods in the same place again after this tournament concludes.
