In that case, I'll create a thread for us to debate in.

So far, we have two candidate topics brought to the table, both Buu Arc. I'd lean more towards discussing Gotenks/Goku since there's more material surrounding it.

I go by SSJ3 Gotenks and SSJ3 Goku being in the same tier, with Gotenks having a small edge.

That's generally the case for the Angels, but as we saw with Whis, they're not beyond helping out here and there. Some of the more vocal ones also seemed quite emotionally invested and biased to their Universes during the ToP. Definitely seems like quite an obstacle to begin to climb for Goku...

There's a lot of freedom within a Gogeta (hypothetical) & Vegito discussion. Though Movie Gogeta is a different matter. Gotenks compared to Goku could be interesting.

The writing kinda got to an awkward spot given how strong the elite are. If a villain comes along acting like they're untouchable, but realistically wouldn't want any parts of Zeno or the Angels, it's not as intimidating.

Outside of the top guys and those that were viable for offering a helping hand to them, there were quite a few fodders that don't necessarily need to be in that tier. Sometimes we get characters that are established to be of a particular level (such as Kefla boasting about her Universal power)...

I get the fundamental point (unnecessary outrage), but this speaks more to Krillin and his extreme caution moreso than Piccolo.

Gohan was very underwhelming. Seems like the writers didn't really care about him or what his Ultimate state was supposed to represent. Goku wins.

There's no doubt that Goku pushes Vegeta to get stronger, and the same can be said vice versa to some extent, such as Goku expressing his goal of surpassing Vegeta when preparing for Namek. Training and competing in fights comes quite naturally to them, so if the alternate storyline demands it...
